Long time ago I thought the credit for saving people only goes to physicians, fire fighters, rescuers, pilots, frankly, anybody but us, translators. That was before I became one. Ever since then, not a single day passes without someone needing their situation rescued. Their day saved. Their documents salvaged. As you can see, not just any but "very important documents". It is not true we sit isolated with our computers for only companions. We get lots of love. Lot of appreciation. In addition to occasional complaints, that is inevitable. But positive emojis and equally happy in person clients prevail. The world will miss us when we are replaced. Who will you direct your love to then? :-D
